Captions! Where are you?
The first shot was in Santa Clarita, where Dave Harkness, a local cyclist, took us home and gave us room & board. In the morning he took this photo because his local paper runs photos of people in odd situations holding up their paper.
The second shot was taken by Don Maddox near Arcata, where he hosted us.
Leah Bolger took the shot of the twins at the Veterans for Peace national convention in St Louis.
